I know a lot of people have been waiting for Chord to release the Poly to turn their Mojo into a portable player so it is great news to say that we now have it on demo and in stock and I am happy to say that it is epic :-)

We took one home to play with last night and although not the simplest thing to set up, it helped that in a previous life Wendy was a network engineer, but in around 10 minute Wendy had it running from our NAS, the internal SD card and Tidal and it then run faultless with outstanding sound quality and it switched between sources really quickly, we were using the 8Player app at the moment but in a couple of weeks Chord’s app will be available which really is very good apparently.

To be fair if you have a Mojo then adding a Poly really is a no brainer and as a bonus at the moment Chord are also giving away a £79 free Mojo/Poly case for a limited time so I really recommend that if you do currently have a Mojo then please feel free to come in for a demo and be prepared to spend £499 as once you have heard the combo you will definitely need it in your life :-) 

Looking forward to trying it with Roon later, this is certainly one powerful little box, looks like Chord Electronics have yet another hit on their hands.
