Hi Everyone,

This is certainly an event I am looking forward to having not heard the ND555 yet myself but according to Naim the new flagship ND555 Network player really does move on what is possible from a streamer and what with this being Naim’s first 500 Series streamer they are saying it is the best source component they have ever developed so expectations are bound to be high.

We will have representatives from Naim on hand to talk through it’s development and what actually makes the ND555 so good, now it is OK listening to any product in isolation but I know what everyone will be asking, how does the ND555 stack up against the previous flagship, the NDS? so the good news is that we will have one of each setup so it will be easy to compare.

Needless to say we will be running the listening in our dedicated Naim room using our 500 system comprising of the NAC 552 and NAP 500 so you really will be able to hear the ND555 at it’s best, regarding speakers, we will either be using the Focal Sopra No3′s or alternatively the Wilson Audio Sabrina’s, this is yet to be decided.

NDX 2 Also Here

We have also just found out that that Naim will be bringing along the new NDX 2 which is reportedly sounding even better than the NDS so for me this is going to be an extremely popular product, we will be running this in our Highend Room with a SuperNait 2 to show how good a simpler system can sound.

Also in the Headphone Room we will have representatives from Focal who will be running the Elear, Clear and Utopia headphones and will be able to answer any questions you may have.

So bearing in mind this is only a preview event that will only be running from 6.30pm to 8.30pm and that our Naim events are always extremely popular could you please just drop me a quick e-mail to the below address to confirm you’d like to come along as spaces will be quite limited, there is also a possibility of holding an earlier preview depending on numbers interested, so it really is only if you are interested in the ND555 or the NDX2, we will be doing a bigger event later in the year once we have all 3 of the new streamers available.
