Duxford Classic car eventImperial War Museum Duxford is the place to be for all car enthusiasts on Sunday 2 May, when the Museum plays host to over 600 stunning cars, with marques including Porsche, BMW, Alvis, Mini, Lotus, Cobra, Westfield and many more.
Any number of superb classic cars may drive through Duxford’s gates during the day and there are often many surprises in store for the automotive enthusiast.
This fun day out gives visitors the opportunity to see a wide range of cars from all periods.
For the Spring Car Show, IWM Duxford is also offering tank demonstrations and rides which will be available to visitors between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
There will also be the opportunity to meet veterans from the Burma Star campaign, who will be available to chat in the Forgotten War exhibition.
Keep an eye on the sky, as you may well see some historic aircraft in flight during the day if the weather is fine.
Building on the success of last year’s Spring Car Show, the 2010 show is even bigger and better. This is a great opportunity for all visitors to get up close to the automotive classics on display and to talk to car club members
See topic on Duxford for listing and details of who is going.
