I have been speaking to Guy Munday and Classic Team Lotus about about a tour around the new CTL building. For those who have not been to CTL before it is an amazing place with an array of Lotus race cars which are being worked on and on display. The history in incredible and it is located opposite the Lotus factory. The date is Tuesday 20th November approx 7 p.m time tbc. I thought this could replace our monthly meet in November and perhaps a quick pint at the Bird in hand down the road after (if they are still serving).
For those who do not know Guy, he is the authority on all things Lotus and did a superb job of the commentary at the Lotus 70th celebration. Guy has agreed to do this for free for us ( thank you Guy) and will impart some of his vast knowledge about the cars and history to Team Lotus, CTL will charge £24 for the tour.
