  1. Evening Gents, Seeing as my previous thread yielded no replies I'd guess that there are no panels available. So a change of tack, would any folk be interested in proper pre-preg panels (bumpers, bonnets, engine covers) manufactured using works moulds ? I'm just tesign the water before I throw money at a dead end idea ? Cheers Phil
  2. easy matey, once you've got it out of the car, you pull a small spring clip out of the socket, (careful not to lose it) and then prise the socket of the ball, a 10mm spanner is good as you can prise the socket equally. oh dear I've made it sound harder than it is now !!!
  3. pressure switch is on the side of the block for sure, will hava look at those drillings you mentioned in you build post tomorrow and let you know what i find out
  4. Have you checked for obvious mechanical things ? Throttle linkage all fine and returning correctly ? Air leaks on the plenum and surrounding areas ? If the throttle butterflys are shut then no amount of clever ecu based info will make the engine speed increase... A sniff of ether is a really good diagnostic tool for air leaks.
  5. Nathan, Having had to remove most of the wiring from a door in the past I seem to remember that there is a multi-plug just in the bottom of the A-pillar and so you need to remove the trim in that area to get a look at what is going on, from that point i think they go up annd the forwards towards the dash then around the bulkhead area to the centre console area. If you try to pull a wire through the multi plug will stop you in your tracks I'm afraid so you'll have to get in there and have a look around. For your power cable there are 2 more choices, from the engine compartment run the cable down and then along the chassis spars and onto the spine up to the bonnet area through an existing grommet, or through the bulkhead and along the tunnel inside under the trim then carefully behind the rear bulkhead carpet and through into the area around the ecu/air intake then run the cable around the corner to the battery
