T1Rs are great - after a few hundred miles, they feel a little soft to start with.

Was at the factory yesterday and there was an Evora on track which sounded awesome, it came off the track and the driver was filling some paperwork in. It sounded fantastic, def not a V6, I asked what was in it at first was told it was being used for exhaust development work - until my guide walked around the back and told me I'd not seen it.
It pulled away then, the tail pipe was HUGE it could only have been the new V8 for the Esprit - which they had already confirmed was being tested in several cars.
The Exige S V6 cars look great too.

Only 15,500 here

Can't see it myself...
UK cameras must be visible for a start!
All of them? I just thought it was certain schemes and that was why they were painted yellow.

Mines coming on

Love mine as does the wife but we both wish the roof came off

I had a ride in one in Saudi last month by one of our customers. It was nice but no better than the Evora, I didn't drive it so can't comment on the drive.
I'd still have one though if funds were no object.

Over the moon for you!

They always seem to launch these models months and months before they're available. Takes less time for the real cars to emerge after launch.

Ordered the yellow one already!

Welcome, nice motor

I was reassured to the FOS that DRB had good intentions for the marque.
I have no such delusions now and frankly I'm growing tired of hearing / reading more bad news about Lotus every other day. I really love Lotus but the way things seem to be going I can't see my next 'weekend toy' being one.
I do hope my pessimism is without foundation and I'm proved wrong!

Glad it all went well Kimbers!

They have paid nothing to F1 this year

The Evora will corner faster than an Elise but will also go over speed bumps etc without you losing your fillings. It's like the good bits of an Elise but more grown up.
For normal road use the S is not worth the extra (in my opinion of course). My concerns with the S were more the resale valve if I sold it in several years - the road tax is double the NA and will continue to increase, I would pay it now on a £50k car but in 5 years will people want to be paying so much on a £20k car?

I use wood on the floor as does my wife, reverse until the rear wheel touches it.

I'm 5'8" and spent 3/4 hr in the back behind my 5'4" wife. Felt very cramped for first five mins then was OK to be honest, been in the rear of other cars that are as bad, although visibility out of the back is worse in the Evora.
That said I would only use them as emergency or occasional seats even for kids.

Nothing official yet, I emailed them and got an answer saying it had ended and everyone would get a refund.

Elise S1 111S to Evora NA here, love it and get 30+ MPG

I can't help but think DRB would do Lotus a favour if they told people what was actually going on instead of leaving it to the rumour mill.

According to the Top Gear mag "the Evora is the best handling supercar they've ever driven" - NA.
