What is the material type you're looking for?
I've recently done an Excel which originally was using brushed nylon with foam backing and cloth scrim, but the new stuff doesn't have the cloth scrim. I used martrim who seem to have a decent range.

You could have put this in the happy thread and just seen this as a case of who would have expected weather in January to go paddling.

For me, the challenge with a heat pump is not the size, place for pipes etc, it's the fundamental that the property is 1950s build, which were (by modern standards) intrinsically poor for insulation, and that means that any time when the boiler is currently running almost constantly, the heat pump would probably struggle unless we up-size the rads, even if the heat pump was to deliver over 60deg because the oil fired boiler is delivering well over that yet on constantly to keep the temp up in the rads.
The only hope for me, is to dramatically alter the thermal efficiency of the house, which means dealing with Finlock (a concrete block that spans the cavity), deal with a solid concrete floor, improve wall insulation (which will be difficult unless I go External/ Internal insulation as opposed to cavity), then it would seem heat pumps would be an option, but equally doing all that would dramatically cut the oil consumption anyway.

I didn't see the full story as it's behind what I assume is a paywall, but the ew seconds appeared to say that the court ruled that they failed to consider whether it breached his human rights, not that ithat the court decided it did breach his human rights, which would appear to be a fundamental error. Hopefully that doesn't prevent re-consideration by the Home Office.

Sharpening a few drill bits today and the wet grinder developed a noise. I investigated (with screwdriver, spanner and hammers. I ended up breaking the stone, the single most important part off it. The actual problem was a £2 bearing but now it has bigger problems. Perhaps I should have used a smaller hammer.
