Brake sticking?
Ah. Yes it's the commemorative edition. I shall have to look into this further. Maybe taking the car to a mechanic might be back on the table. Thanks for all the input.

Brake sticking?
Hi Filip. Thank you for your response. I shall have a look at what you suggested. I believe the calipers are similar to the se so this may well resolve it. My problem is that I don't like to mess with things that I need to stop. If I do something wrong that may result in me not being able to stop is a large fear of mine. Thanks again.

Brake sticking?
Hello everyone! My esprit is having some sticky brake problems. Callipers seem to be the culprit but I think that this may be beyond my technical ability as I don't know if it needs one rebuilt or something different. Can anyone recommend a garage/mechanic near to Buckinghamshire I could take my car too? Thanks all.

Hazard Lights
The binicle has been removed, the relay located and replaced! This was hard for someone who is not at all flexible haha. Now i have done this the hazard button has started working, so flashes as you would expect, which is a start. However the Hazard lights are still not working (the indicators are still working though with the new relay in). Any thoughts on that?

Hazard Lights
Hello everyone! I have a question about my car: the hazard lights are not working. The car does have the button but it seems to do nothing, the button just lights up and there is a slight humming noise. Both indicators work fine so i am unsure why there would be an issue. At my MOT test the guy said all cars made 89 onwards needed Hazards. I know my car was first registerd in 89, so i would assume i am meant to have them fitted. Could anyone possible shed some light on the issue? Many thanks Cameron

New Esprit owner
Hello everybody! I joined the forum at the beginning of the year when I started looking for an Esprit. I thought it would be best to introduce myself properly after posting in spotted (Link) when someone saw the car I bought. I purchased one 2 weeks ago, picked it up a week ago and finally got to know it last weekend! It is a white turbo esprit (one of the 40th anniversary colours one). I am completely smitten with it as you might be able to imagine. The car is in pretty great working order mechanically however there are a few bits and pieces I shall be doing over time, mostly interior related. If anyone could advice where best to find luggage compartment carpets for example, I need to replace these. I was also wondering if anyone would be able to suggest what the best meets to go too near London are. I am looking forward to being an active member of this lotus community further! Cameron
