Welcome to Evora ownership, you'll love it. Still has the feel of the older cars, but just does everything that bit better and no worries about using it every day

Yes a known warranty issue. Like Paul a few minutes with wet and dry and you are back to white plastic. Sprayed mine up and were fine, but didn't really like the plain black on a relatively dark colour car - they get lost in the shadow, making the lights look smaller.
I think there is actually a supply problem on the silver ones as well, presumably a quality issue - like the headlights.

Paul, I sprayed mine black, but wasn't over keen on it, makes the lights look smaller on a LB car. Now have them carbon wrapped which looks much better.

Maybe the 2bular might be a quick fit? :-D
Few months ago I was speaking with Jez at back on track exploring the options. He has done 2bular decats and reckoned on an hour or so labour and a simple job.

The lotus genuine decat pipe doesn't fit the original down pipe on the early n/a cars, so they need to replace the down pipe as well. Best bet is to get a larini or 2bular decat and get that fitted. Whether a main dealer will do it is questionable, but an indi would.
As for me - have a 2bular box and decat on order.

No need to remove anything. Next to the seat back adjustent knob between the frame and the upholstery you will see 2 intermeshed cogs (for want of a better description). You may need to push back the bottom of the seat back bolster to see/access. Smear a little grease on them whilst turning the know to raise and lower the seat back. There is another on the other side so repeat.
HTH, but if unclear let me know and I'll grab a photo.

Been running my N/A on regular for about 8000 miles. Started using V Power about 500 miles ago. Can't say I have noticed any difference in either performance or mpg, but as Neal says - for a couple of quid per tank....

Mine did this when I first got it. Tracked it down to the back adjustment mechanism. Just needs a little grease and all is good 12 months on.

I've just had a full set put on from here. All exact spec and no more than a month or so old. Oldest mfr date was on the rears and was feb 2014. Delivery is from Germany but only takes a few days. Fitting is extra but I had my wheels refurb end at the same time.
