My daughter - a funeral director - has been planning mines for ages. Apparently it involves Lotus, Lego, and a launch.
Don't worry, it will probably be delayed at least a couple of years and when finally it happens it will cost more than you were originally promised..

Have to say that I've only ever had good experiences when taking my cars on magazine or TV shoots. Maybe I've just been lucky.

I'm heavily invested in Lego bricks; that's going rather well.
As an investment, does it stack up?

Agree entirely. My concerns surfaced when Matt W started talking about "Product". A lotus car shouldn't have been described as "product" by the CEO..

a lot will depend on budget and whether existing door is a standard size
Pete,
Current door is standard size but we're bringing it forward 3 meters so builder suggesting a new, wider door. Budget c£1.5-2k
Thanks for the other responses. Sounds like double glazing sales at its best. Will try to find a good local company unless there are any more recommendations?

I'm looking to buy a new front door for the house and just wondered if anybody had experience/ideas of where to go.
Many thanks

Just don't get why anybody would buy it and stick it away for 25 years and not drive it. Bonkers.

Was owned by the same chap who sold me 011 who was selling both at the same time. I test drove 012 at Speedmaster Cars and decided it wasn't for me. Yes, it was exported to France very shortly afterwards. I've got lots of pics of it that I took at Speedmaster if Dave is interested - I don't do FB.

If you had bought $1000 worth of Qantas shares one year ago, you would have made $49.00 today.
If you had bought $1000 worth of AIG shares one year ago, you would have made $33.00 today.
If you had bought $1000 worth of Lehman Brothers Shares one year ago, you would have made $0.00 today.
BUT .... If you purchased $1000 worth of beer one year ago, drank all
the beer, then returned the cans for recycling. You would have made $214.00 today.
So based on above, the best current investment plan is to drink
heavily then recycle. 👍😁🍺Is that incider information?

The Elan estate appeared to have a Clio rear window. It somehow didn't quite work but I like it.
I believe it dates from 2007 as a modified +2.

Owned by a serial (lovely chap) Lotus collector - he owns the black Elite parked next to it too.
Paul Matty did the conversion to the Elan.

As per my earlier post - no need for a bulk buy, includes glue, instructions and they're UK supplied

More recently Fabian sourced a UK company who make them.

Massive congratulations mate.
Nice to know I'm not the only one punching above my weight.
Best of luck for a very long future together.

In the same vein, a few years ago we went out for dinner and I ended up sitting next to this bloke I didn't know. As the evening went on we'd talked cars/footie/food etc then, as you do, we got round to what he did for a job...
"Kindliness". I tried not to spit dinner out. He went on "large companies employ me to go into their workplaces and talk about/spread nice things".
I jest you not, he was making a living out of it..
