  1. They look like standard 288 discs. The way your tape measure is bending across the hub will throw the measurement out by a lot Remove the disc and measure with a flat/straight tape
  2. Apparently this isn't true!!!! The trofeo is in the words of a chap at the supplier ' as tough as old boots'
  3. Just for information. These large tyres can be damaged when being fitted to rims if the fitters aren't use to large sticky tyres... Cannot remember the specifics but its to do with the pressure used to blow the tyre onto the rim From memory its something like 40 psi max, using more and the tyre can be damaged and cause balance issues.
  4. Ken Rear toe IS affected by tracking but the amount depends upon how accurate the rear bump steer is set. Front camber adjustment does NOT affect front toe. Hope this helps Dave
  5. Tom with the exige I start with about 20psi all round, tyres very quickly come up to about 28/30 psi and stay there. Last trackday I disd160 miles around blyton with zero tyre issues (apart from a bit of wear) But remember that tyre pressures are influence dramatically by driving style/car weight /geometry spring rates/ track surface. By all means give me a shout if you need and help with what seems to work on track
  6. Believe it or not the LF1 wheels are actually painted and then matt lacquered already.(Well that's what I have been told by my contact at the place the wheels are made)
  7. Yes that's a good choice but you already have the accusump so I would suggest fitting a baffled sump but repair the accusump and use for cold start protection.....
  8. Very similar performance to the standard pads that are in the car from the factory (Ferodo DS25) But the 1144 pads are more expensive than the Ferodo 2500 aftermarket pads. As has been mentioned lots of V6 owners use the F2500. (Many track day goers are on there 2nd or 3rd set now) Been trying to get the RS-14 in the correct size from Pagid for about a year now with no luck and have had to use the water jet cut ones (right shape and size when cut), Who have you found that will be supplying please??
  9. Basically feel like wooden brake blocks - not pads No feel. No retardation to speak of. So to keep things simple like Bibs says... And to make it clear I have never ever used a car on circuit with green pads fitted. Cannot comment on what Mr Hamilton uses, He's quick so may use Yellow pads
  10. Truly dire? They must have improved them then as I didn't think they where as good as truly dire More like F?@#g rubbish
  11. The V6 Screen and wiper mechanism etc etc are the same as the S2 so anything that fits the S2 will fit the S3
  12. Cup cars also have a baffled sump Its your engine...... I shall be fitting a baffled sump when I get a V6!!!
  13. The lightest wheel now offered by Lotus is the wheel used on the Elise cup R and also on The Elise cup Road car as an option. They are the same sizes as the other forged options 7x16 and 8x17 they come in at 5.5kg for the fronts and 7.0kg for the rears, Almost 3 kgs lighter than the 240R and the super sport wheels
  14. Listen to Ishy re staring from full hard.... ALL Nitrons should be set from full hard as that is the calibrated set up point. I have just checked my Nitron stock and all 46mm Nitrons seem to have about 24 clicks, check you are setting them as 16 clicks on a new damper doesn't sound right. As you go further from full hard the effects get less and once over about 20 the adjusters do very little if anything at all to the damping adjustment.
  15. I actually put the true weights of the wheels onto the website. These wheels are about the same as the Lotus standard offerings (very very slightly lighter but not much!!)
