  1. Thanks for the advice however I cannot find any PIN numbers referenced anywhere on the manuals or documentation we have. I've called the service dept at B&C and they have said that it needs to be recovered to them and that there is nothing that can be done at home.
  2. Hi, We've got an Evora 400 and right now, neither of our keys will unlock the car or disable the alarm. I think its a faulty alarm unit in the car because both keys stopped working at the same time and fresh batteries in the keyfobs have failed to resolve the problem. I can open the car door with the actual key in the door but of course this just sets the alarm off. Is there a way I can disable the alarm/immobiliser without the fob because right now, I cannot even drive the car to my local service centre for a long term remedy? Thanks in advance for any responses. RD
  3. I much prefer the 400 bumper to the 430/410 bumper. I think the 430/410 bumper makes the car look soft in comparison. This for me is the perfect combo. 400 front with 430/410 rear.
  4. Funny thing is, I’ve never had anything other than black leather in my previous cars and now we’ve got two cars with red leather!
  5. Ahhh Ok. I love it too but I really wasn’t sure about it before I saw it in the flesh. The pics on the advert make it look a bit garish.
  6. I agree the interior looks pretty horrible on the pictures but it’s not quite as bright when you see it in the flesh. And of course when you’re driving it, you don’t see the seats. 😂
  7. http://hofmanns.co.uk/cars/lotus-evora-400-ips/ Plenty on the advert. Will post pics afterwards once we collect it
  8. Yes, that was the one. It’s not an official retrofit, the roof and mirrors will be wrapped and the wheels painted through specialists. Same result and I’m not precious about the tag.
  9. Ok... it’s taken a while but we pulled the trigger on a 400 today. 2016 car, Metallic Silver, Red Leather interior, IPS, 8k on the clock, FSH, etc etc. It didn’t have the black pack so the dealer is going to sort the Roof, Mirrors and Wheels out for us in Gloss Black and we should pick it up in about 2 weeks. Officially it’s my wife’s car... we’ll see how that goes. Thanks for the guidance on here, I haven’t contributed much but I’ve learned a lot.
  10. When the 400’s first came out, I think I read something on here about them having a few teething troubles that were tweaked soon after. I also seem to recall reading something out them being the ones with “LOTUS” on the dash (above the Satnav screen). If I’m looking at such a car, what should I be aware of and am I better off avoiding it and going for a slightly later model? Thanks in advance
  11. Hi, been a while since I last posted but I'm still keeping my eye out for the right Evora. I noticed recently that 400's have been holding their value pretty well but the Sport 410's aren't particularly commanding a premium over the 400's. Why is that?
  12. Yes it is a bit. My other option is to go for a Maserati GranTurismo S. It offers a different type of performance and some exclusivity (other than in Surrey) but I already have a big engined heavy car for hammering down the motorways. Not sure I really need a second car like that, hence why the Evora appeals so much.
  13. To answer your question, there is quite a lot. I'm going to end up buying another Porsche at this rate.
  14. This popped up today: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/lotus/evora/lotus-evora-v6-s-4/6457202 But when I called at 11:15am a deposit had already been taken. I thought it looked a tiny bit expensive but I guess that 2011-12 S models are quite rare at the moment.
