Was it 6, or 7 Evoras? As you say, great turn out. Sadly had to leave early in order for friend to get COVID jab. Turns out we could have gone any old time.....

Is the price missing?

Will be there about 0945 in the 410.

Won't have the new car until Tuesday, sadly. Might run out in the 410. What time you guys planning on being there?
-
Too early to say right now; currently getting the money organised and looking at options on my GT410. Would hope this week sometime, but Saturday most likely, unfortunately; would have loved to go to SWL day. If I can make it, I will let you know.

Seriously though, guys, thanks for all the information on the car/Targa Florio/market, etc.
It really helped me know where to pitch my offer and I am extremely pleased with the deal.
Thanks to all.

I thought I'd strike while the iron was hot, as it were.

Well it's all academic now, guys.
I just bought it :-)
Anyone looking to buy a superb-condition GT410 in Empire Green?

Why no surprise, out of interest?

Good info, thanks Dave. I put extra mesh grilles on my car for just that reason.
I'm not put off myself by its condition (now I know more about the wishbones, anyway); I prefer a well-serviced, well-used car to a garage queen. However, 430s are in Ferrari-money territory and many of those in that market just want cars that never move(d).
Definitely one to watch.

Will be interesting what this 430 achieves in what is a struggling used car market at the moment ?

Particularly as it looks like it's been driven hard a lot (475 upgrade, cracked disks and replaced exhaust gaskets!) and quite possibly a big off (stone chips everywhere and replaced wishbones!).
Love the colour, but this one's been for sale unsuccessfully quite a few times, no?

I'm a big fan of preventative maintenance, but an engine-out clutch job would definitely not be on my list :-). As Bibs rightly says, the first sign will almost certainly be slippage (at high revs/throttle) and the car will still drive gently, even then.
I would not do the clutch until then.

I believe that is the best way to remove the film, yes.

Fantastic memories from a fantastic weekend, no doubt. I greatly enjoyed Thursday/Friday. Sunday must have been epic.

User a small roller, works great.
Also, fabulous-looking car (fellow Empire-green enjoyer here)!
-
Can't make it sadly, but am interested in other runs - again in September I think?
-
Your car looked and sounded great at Goodwood!
Shame about today's cancellation.

Go and test-drive one; it's the only way to know. My money's on you keeping the 400.

If you can use Waze via your phone, it is much, much better than TMC.

Corrosion on shocks is not a biggie, honestly.

Received, thanks!

Having had an NA and now on a GT410, yes the 400 suspension is firmer, but it's still very usable day-to-day and the handling is sharper. NA is definitely the comfiest, but that may not be your priority.
