  1. Too early to say right now; currently getting the money organised and looking at options on my GT410. Would hope this week sometime, but Saturday most likely, unfortunately; would have loved to go to SWL day. If I can make it, I will let you know.

  2. Good info, thanks Dave.  I put extra mesh grilles on my car for just that reason.

I'm not put off myself by its condition (now I know more about the wishbones, anyway); I prefer a well-serviced, well-used car to a garage queen. However, 430s are in Ferrari-money territory and many of those in that market just want cars that never move(d).

    Definitely one to watch.

Will be interesting what this 430 achieves in what is a struggling used car market at the moment ?

Particularly as it looks like it's been driven hard a lot (475 upgrade, cracked disks and replaced exhaust gaskets!) and quite possibly a big off (stone chips everywhere and replaced wishbones!).

Love the colour, but this one's been for sale unsuccessfully quite a few times, no?

  4. I'm a big fan of preventative maintenance, but an engine-out clutch job would definitely not be on my list :-). As Bibs rightly says, the first sign will almost certainly be slippage (at high revs/throttle) and the car will still drive gently, even then.

I would not do the clutch until then.
