I have a 2010 NA so not the comparison you’re after, but have had Nitron (fast road) fitted for a while now. I had the spring rates adjusted to be 50 pounds softer front and rear as it’s purely a road car. They’re brilliant, the ride is ridiculously compliant. I do feel you’d likely want something a little more track focused if you’re planning to track though. Custom valving / spring rate as mentioned above may be the way to go.
Regarding the clunk, I had this at first but some lube on the ARB bushes solved the problem. No more clunks.

Clutch on my LE is quite heavy. Always has been.
-
I think most stuff has been covered already, but I’ll add that a 2010 LE with well adjusted original cables is still a pretty good shift. Never felt the need to spend any money to upgrade (and it was one of the main items on my list before purchase).
Assume it was the same in other countries, but here the LE came with all the packs. There is leather literally EVERYWHERE - even in the foot wells and the door pockets. I’ve sat in a couple of cars without the leather pack (whatever it was called). Didn’t quite feel (or smell) the same.
Best of luck with the test drives 👍🏼

That’s surprising mate. The Evora drinks like a fish compared to our 308 GTi - uses almost double when pushed.

I think most of it is already covered, my only advice is to echo the above comments suggesting a test drive. Id say that’ll likely make the decision for you.
All the best and let us know how you go!

2010 launch edition came with red calipers 👍🏼

Awesome effort mate. I must say my launch edition is (weirdly) still pretty much rattle free, but I love the cloth tape idea when I finally get around to the dash removal (last thing on the list)!

Recently fitted the Suzuki Alto ones recommended on another forum. 26 bucks on ebay, super easy to fit.

Checked my 2010 and both look ok. Might be something I’ll have to keep an eye on!

Wow, that’s cheap. I’d go for it.

Interesting re the Esprit with the BMW V8. Didn’t know that.

Was the Lotus quoted time possibly 0-100km/h?

Follow this thread just to admire the front bumper 👌🏼

Was about to ask the same question. Glad I found the answer.

I’d happily use mine as a daily (used an Elise as a daily for years), but I can’t stand to see it sitting out in the Aussie sun baking all day, so I only take it to work occasionally these days.

The 131 from discussions will be between the EVORA and Exige in size, ally tub and normally aspirated with a Manual box.
This is great news 👍🏼

What a pity.

Yep, as said above I’d bet it was your mud flaps that were scraping previously. When approaching a speed bump, the bottom edge of the front wheel arch (bumper side) is actually lower than the lowest point past the wheel, so if it was the actual underside scraping, it would have hit before the wheel went over not after. My car is quite low, it’s the mud flaps that always scrape, and they’re rubber, so no big deal.

I’ve seen a few I believe. Did that white one that was smashed and the youtubers fixed have 20s all round? B for Build was it? I vaguely recall they fitted 8.5s on the back, sacrilege. 20s aren’t a huge step up from 19s up front so I’m sure it’s doable. Just don’t go skinnier on the rear!
-
Yeah, I believe there were some quality issues with the earlier units. I actually had a set of them which were slightly faulty, they were replaced at no charge with the brand new eclipse units (been free postage to Australia). Great service and the replacements were much better built. Pity they’ve gone, but the GRP units are a great alternate and their service is also great.

I think Transforged have shut up shop unfortunately mate. Yes, I’ve gradually been ticking off the mods / little things, the last one left is the dash / airbag covers! One day...
Evora long term ownership

Just over four years for me, but probably over 15 years of Lotus ownership now counting the Elises.
Reason for Evora purchase was 100% the rear seats due to imminent arrival of our little one - You can see her fingerprints on the car door in the pic below! It has taken the family on heaps of road trips and been pretty close to faultless. Always the best car at the daycare pickup too 😉
