Quick video of the first dry day I got in it at Phillip Island.

Hey guys, new owner from Australia here. After 18 months of tracking my 911 I decided a dedicated track car was in order, and a ripper exige popped up and next thing you know, it was in my backyard. I've got nowhere to store it or the trailer it requires, but bloody hell it's good fun! Shame it's not registered tho, but it's a bit of a pig to drive on the road. Looking forward to learning the car and racing it next year!

Here's some in car footage for my first track day in my new to me Exige. 2004 or 2005 Exige, couple of mods here and there. Currently running a stock internal's engine with a TVS1320, limited to 7800rom, and Kuhmo V700s. I had only driven this track once and that was 18 months ago, so hard to know how the Lotus compared to my other car. Going to try out the slicks next weekend at Phillip Island. That will be the real test to compare to my other car as I have done PI a fair bit this year. Feel free to give me any pointers. I had huge steering shudder under brakes, so I've machined the front discs and we'll see how that goes. Still need to get the suspension dialed in, felt like the tail was about to go the whole way round the left hand sweeper. Dialed out most of the understeer, but still need to get it set up better, as my other mates say there's handle like they're on rails, where this is far from that. This is more like a hectic go kart ride with constant skipping around - feels quite manic in the car. The go pro image stabilisation makes it look much smoother than it feels! Anyway - hope you enjoy!
