  1. Mark and any future posters, thanks. I'm on the hunt. edit: I have found a registry here: http://www.lotus-europa.com/regs2.html still going through it, has some extensive "remarks" on specific cars, someone has done a good job.
  2. Mark and any future posters, thanks. I'm on the hunt.
  3. I haven't found a registry, yet. Someone (posts under literarymadness, is himself quite knowledgeable) on the BAT thread recommended JBCollier as a source on Europa data.
  4. Has anyone compiled a register of chassis numbers, owners, where the car may have resided or any details exist?
  5. New to the forums, looked around not sure where to put this, sorry if I missed the thread. I'm watching Bring A Trailer auction, the blue '72 TC. Seller is a little reticent re questions asked, not saying he is evasive, perhaps he is busy this being mid Dec, etc. Car Fax doesn't apply to this age car, is there a registry of owners that might provide info on chassis numbers? I'm looking here and Lotuseuropa.org and no joy. Any other place to look?
  6. Is there a thread or site or reference book that discusses nomenclature? I'm new to the Europa and need to know the jargon. For instance, TC doesn't stand for twin cam does it? JPS = John Player Special, right? And "365" refers to ? Production run? You guys are like the French, they have a different word for everything. I'm in US so I don't even speak English.

Where is the Europa forum? I'm looking for info on this classic, which I want to purchase, for autoX or DE events and just to enjoy. I can do some wrenching, so not a project car; I'm in the US so I would be looking for left-hand drivers. Any info of FAQs on what to look for in modifications or weak spots that owners have found over the years. So far I've discovered that owners here beef up the axles and harden the hub coupling for the larger axle they install; things like that that a knowledgeable buyer would look for. Thanks in advance.
