Thank you very much indeed. I suspect you may be right, I can see a LED glowing somewhere under the dash, but it doesn't illuminate the strip. It could well had fallen off. I will check. PS I like that you are also a member of the select Oyster Interior club !

I'm reviving this thread because I just bought a 2010 Evora with a single DIN unit and I'd like to upgrade to a double DIN. (1) How easy is it to remove the plastic 'case' that is under the single DIN unit; and (2) would a standard Pioneer or JVC double DIN be plug-and-play? I'm not (at the moment) interested in removing all the trim to add a DAB antenna or cameras. I might add a mic below the sun visor but that should be easy.

Hello all, I've recently bought back my 2010 Evora, which I ordered new and had to sell 3 years later due to work relocation. These models had interior LED lighting strips in the doors and under the dashboard. The one under the dashboard doesn't work (although I can feel it is there). Any ideas/experience on how to fix it? So am I. Can't seem to find anything on eBay. There is a backorder of like 50 softtops waiting fulfillment by Lotus, my dealer says... so are these as rare as hen's teeth?
