There are now quite a few cars which have not sold privately being offered by dealers - latest being advertised by Geoff Cox doesn't yet have pics or even the colour mentioned! Is it me or is this lazy advertising? Thanks Tim for info ERS quoting me £580 for an S with my 3 yrs NCB available ( NA is £35 cheaper ?) - via AIB Admiral quoting online £400 for S, £303 for NA with sensible level of excess . £710 road tax is a bummer! I need to have a decent drive in an NA now.

I am actively looking to buy an early Evora and have been doing some research on insurance costs for an S compared to an NA model. Wow! - the S model is coming in at approx 3 times the cost of an NA and also with much bigger excess figures ! That plus the £715 road tax seems to have ruled out buying an S for me. I have 3 yrs NCB which I can use plus I am "mature" ( 65) and a low risk postcode. Anybody else had similar results when getting quotes? Any recommendations for insurers to try? Anybody thinking of selling their NA? 🙂

hello to you all - I would like to buy an early Evora NA or maybe an S but really need to actually see one and try it for "size" as I am tall! ( 6' 3") I had an Elan M100 few years back - great fun but just too cramped. My current 986 Boxster is better but still on the tight side. I am keen to revisit Lotus ownership before the march of time catches up with me! I live near Taunton are there any owners in my area willing meet up for a chat and let me sit in one? Or a meet ? There are none for sale at the moment within a reasonable distance to view - couple were about 2 hrs away but they appear to have been bought by dealers further away.
