Hi, I own a 1984 turbo esprit and am going to rebuild it. I would like to know what are the standard items that I would need to purchase for a rebuild. I am changing the head, pistons and liners, the rest I am retaining. I would appreciate any advice on this matter.

Hi, I am in the process of restoring my 1984 turbo esprit and am thinking about the possibility of swapping the engine with an S4 2.2L engine. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a few of my concerns: 1. would there be any mounting or space problems if I were to install the s4 engine. 2. would there be any mounting or space problems if I were to install the s4 engine together with the renault gearbox. 3. Could I use the existing citroen gearbox with the S4 engine just by changing the bell house should the need arise. This is my very first lotus and am not too familiar with the differences between the different models and hence would be very much appreciaive if anyone would share their knowledge on this matter.
