  1. In addition to the above, the Lotus service note. sn_ef_p18a.pdf
  2. AFAIK the 100 - 110 frequency specification is only for the HTD Belt with the round teeth.
  3. As far as i know the fitting (with the big thin hexagon) on the forward end of the Fuel Rail is some kind of press fitting (maybe with an internal O-ring ??). On my car I can wiggle it side ways (up, down, left, right) not much but very noticeable. Is this bad or is this normal?
  4. I remember an issue that the pink liquid would eat/dissolve the yellow impellor. (See Bibs answer)
  5. Hi Ian, Do you have a link or more information for the turbo lower coolant port fitting you used?
  6. The tools helps centering of the seal by putting more tension on the seal. Further it protects the lip of the seal when you put the cover with the seal over the crankshaft flange. I used a thick piece of plastic.
  7. IIRC there is a grub screw (allen head) taking care of the sealing in the end of the camshaft where the camshaft pulley retaining bolt goes.
  8. Conversion for MAP used in Freescan (which is wrong): m_pSupervisor->m_fMAP = (((float)buffer[25] - (float)130.0)/ (float)100) + (float) 1.0; // in Bar Absolute
  9. MAP Sensor data for the 2 bar MAP sensor. 5V (reference voltage used) corresponds to about 204 kpa
  10. Did some checking in my SE code and AFAIK the pwm frequency of the cannisterpurge solenoid in my SE is 16Hz.
  11. IIRC the S300 has bigger valves in the cylinderhead compared to the SE one, so the VE is also different. Most Likely the VE tables in the S300 bin are also different than the SE bin. I know the VE tables in the S4s and the SE are different.
  12. Hi Jacques, do you have any rubbing issues with the 235 and the 285 tires? What are the exact sizes of your tires? Questions asked because I'm searching / investigating for some new rims as the standard sized SE tires are unobtainable. Freek
  13. too tight without lubrication...................................................destroyed seal
  14. In addition to the above post use also engine oil on the plastic sheet (both sides).
  15. Any pics of the seal? It should stay in the carrier, however I fitted mine without wellseal. "Special" tool fpr mounting the carrier with the seal. Just a sheet of plastic (not too thin) cut size. It is for protecting the Lip of the seal when sliding it onto the crankshaft. Furthermore the seal will have some more tension which will help centering the carrier / seal assembly. Just use some wellseal onto both sides of the carrier gasket.
  16. When mine didn't work it was a loose connection on the solenoid. The wingnut which holds the solenoid and the earth wire was loose.
