Well.. I recently tried using the parts x-reference to get myself a new alternator for my 88. The Bosch part # does not work for this model. The only piece available is from a Case farm tractor!!! I will post further information once I recieve the new alternator on friday -- Part number and so forth.... The price of this is $440 Canadian.. including shipping and core.

Modifying esprit's.. now that's fun..
