Front Cantrail - Elite

Hi, I am just putting the interior back in my Elite and on the front Cantrails there is a piece

of angle/bracket riveted to each one along the bottom edge towards the front. Its been that long

since I took them out I cant figure out why they are there? Can anybody help?

One side of the visors unclips so you can rotate them to the side windows I think. May be wrong!

The hinges are fixed do I dont think that's it's.

Hi, question does it point straight down towards the floor of the car, if so it clips in behind the  rubber door seal, helps keep the cant rail close to the top of the door.  There are no fixings for the sun visors on the cant rail on any of my cars.

Thanks for the picture, no below that on the bottom is a right angled bracket. It must be under the door seal as John said.
