Where is the oil pressure lamp supplied from

I'm looking for where the signal to my oil pressure lamp comes from. I do not find it on any drawings that I have access to. On my S4 95 the signal does not come from the oil pressure sensor as many others do.

Depends on the year, I think.  The later ones had a separate, simple sender for the warning light.  This is awkward to access; it's toward the back of the block on the right side.

right now i have a wrong transmitter with 2 terminals. when i get my new and correct as the one in your image then i have a lead in excess, so which sensor on the image is for the oil pressure lamp.

I think you'll find the pressure gauge transducer is the large canister on the right, the pressure switch on the left.

In Ian's picture the black thing on the left is the oil temperature sensor. The middle is the oilfeed hose to the turbo. The semi gold coloured thing on the right is the oilpressure sender with the lowpressure switch.

G (Geber) - connection to the pressure gauge.

WK (Warnkontakt) - connection for the pressure switch

the housing is the common ground connection for the unit, so don't use teflon tape when fitting.

You are absolutely right, but in my case I have caerbont gauges and cant use the one you have, mine and all other later S4 and V8 oil pressure gauges are reversed. High resistance is equal to low pressure on the meter, therefore I and many others have a different transmitter like the one @chillidoggy have as you can see on his image. Therefore, I look for information where the signal comes to the low oil pressure lamp. In your case, that signal comes from the wk terminal, but i have no wk terminal as you can see on @chillidoggy image.

Correct, Anders.  You have a separate sender as detailed above.

The wiring diagrams show twin connectors for MY 93.5, and 1994 revised wiring harness oil pressure transducer. This is not the case with my car, there is only a single connector. The low oil pressure warning switch is also a single connector. Both these look like white wires from the photo.
