California new "modified exhaust" laws

I wonder if this will have an impact on Evora 400's. I also wonder if LOTUS will need to fit different exhausts to California sold cars. California seems to be the one state in the US that is out on its own re US regs.

Yes priorities are different. In Germany we are not allowed to carry guns and loud exhausts … or change anything on the car unless it has a KBA homologation.
But still we may drive as fast as we can on certain motorway areas. But since the world´s climatic change has to be stopped (at least in Germany alone) at all costs we will lose that and even more soon.

All US cars still have the 3rd Cat because of California emissions laws, this 3rd Cat makes our exhaust systems much quieter than ROW cars.

Dumb is drawing (inaccurate) analogies and conclusions based on partial understandings of complex issues. I’m sure you’d appreciate my well-informed thoughts on Brexit?

Happy for you to share your views on Brexit. How many people killed by people using guns versus people inhaling car fumes in California? Just to help me being more informed.

Often it’s not the exhaust making the noise, but headers.  Wonder where they stand with that.
