I bought it, it was not quite as cheap in the end as I had hoped. No-one seemed to have noticed it before Wednesday

which is why at £60 starting still in the celophane this seemed like a good deal. I've seen people asking anywhere from £125-250. I hope it's good!

It is a very good book. William at Coterie knows his market and it was pitched just right. Mr Walton has written a number of Esprit books and is a very fine author. I supplied a few of the pictures in the book for the toy section.

I wonder how much the Ltd Edition Publishers Edition is now worth, which sits neatly on my shelf at home but is not quite mint as l like to read it. I cannot remember how much it was new but around £150, perhaps £200. No matter, I ain't selling.

I remember lotusbits had a job lot of these books. Quite a few times when I went in there to get something Mike would ask if I wanted to buy a book as well!

Its an awsome book, I enjoy perusing it from time to time.

Yes I have a copy of the book and got it from the lotus show when it was released and got it signed by the author... Great chap to talk to and commended him on his other books and my favorite Only here for the beer, which is also signed by him and Gerry Marshall👍.... He smiled at my appreciation....

I too have enjoyed reading the book and from time to time just reread and look at the pictures.

A must have for every lotus esprit owner and fan. I have a boxed example,( in a slip case)  very well made, that I bought about 7 or 8 years ago at an oldtimer and classic car show in Ghent. Happy I did buy it, because apparently prices have gone up...

Gosh, £350 for the slip-case version. The Publishers Edition is signed by The Good Lord Mr M Kimberley, leather bound and limited to 100 copies in a special case. Published in 2006, I bought a Publishers Edition for a friend of mine in 2013 at list price from Coterie, so they took some time to sell out. £150 was list.

I also have the slipcase version, and I paid 35 gbp directly from the Publisher. Same Price on fleabay at the time.

I also got the Publishers special version (as mentioned by jep above, but i got mine further signed by Mr. LeMans himsef, Tom Kristensen, as Lotus was participating in the LeMans many moons ago. I fear what that book could end up in these days. I prefer them cheap and available, so people actually read them. Same with the cars ;)

Kind regards,

jacques

Nobody does it better - than Lotus ;)
