Waistline trim

Hi guys.  Hope someone might know this:  Which model years used the stick-on waistline trim?  I need a couple of new door skins for my '74 Elite restoration, and there seem to be subtle but significant differences between the early and later doors.  I've already got some later doors but they do not quite fit my early, deeper, door bars.  My original doors were wrecked by a PO trying (I assume) to wrench/cut the window frames out at some point!

Mines a '79 and had stick on trim with chrome top and bottom.
