The MT90 works well in the C64 - note that it usually comes in 1 US Quart, which is a little less than 1 litre.

As for how-to, in simplistic terms, remove undertray, remove bung at bottom of gearbox to drain fluid, refill to correct level via fill/level bung on front/cockpit side of the gearbox.  You can refill via one of the spare bungs in the top, but you still need to get the level right on the side.

Yes as Dave from Hanger 111 said it will take approx. 2.7L so 3X bottles needed

Make sure gearbox is warm remove drain plug 24mm socket and drain.

remove fill/level plug 17mm socket and obviously make sure car is level and well supported.

Refill with Red Line MT-90 until it flows out the level fill plug obviously after replacing the drain plug.

Note make sure both fill and level plug mating faces and plugs are clean and the AJ ( Aluminium Joint ) Rings for each plug are in good condition if not source replacements.

Tightening Torque 29lb/ft  for both plugs

The drain plug is located at the bottom of the gearbox as in line with the drive shafts 27mm socket and the fill level plug is located further up to the right looking from the front to the back of the car and is at 90 degree's to the drain plug and the head of the plug 17mm faces the back of the passengers seat

Hope This Helps

Changed my gearbox oil to Redline MT90 last year replacing the factory gloop which had covered 8k miles from new.   Reasonably straight forward as previously described, however, I would strongly recommend removing the filler plug first then the drain plug.  If you have drained the oil and the filler plug won't budge the job has suddenly become very nasty.

Wise words indeed
