Cooling fans

I have been offered two coolong fans with orange fan blades. Problem is my connections are the flat type with 1 female and one uncovered male connector. The fans on offer have round connectors. I assumebthey are from later cars. Anybody resolved this problem in the past. Thanks

I'm pretty sure the one I replaced on my Stevens car came with a round socket but it came with the plug too so it was just a matter of clipping the old plug off the loom and resoldering the new plug on.

Yes that will bebthe answer i have find out if the connector half from the car is availble. Anyone know?

They're Ford fans IIRC. I think my new one was mk4 or 5 fiesta. Hopefully a motor factor or electrical parts supplier would recognise it as a common part?

I think they are indeed Fiesta fans, and the connectors must be different on the later cars as you say. So, a Fiesta from 93 - 95 would probably be the one. I had a quick look, and found this, but I'm not absolutely sure it's the correct one, I'd have to have another look at the fan. There looks to be a barb for latching, though.
