Komo-tec carbon mirror covers

Yep ,

Bought a pair for my old Exige 380, easy to fit and covered the awful plastic covers a treat . 

Good quality to boot !

I wouldn’t though fit them to painted wing mirrors as do not fully cover up the mirror case

Do you not remove the painted backs and replace with the carbon ones?

Mine were just clip on with sticky tape to secure them.

They are smaller than the actual mirror case and the Carbon is probably not stiff enough in any event

I keep coming back to them, but with a car like the Exige I can't bring myself to stick carbon on top of something else. Surely someone can skin and make a cover quite easily?

I had the exact same thoughts, that whilst it’s real carbon it just seems a bit, well cheap.

but needs must and I have gone for them along with a bunch of stuff from Matteo at eltech until someone creates a better solution...... @alias23 ?

I'll be there on the 1st or 2nd and then collecting on the 9th of March, getting the front end repaired and splitter fitted - not sure what time though.
I can assure you, the lotus is a better deal!

If not, they might be cf versions of the OEM/Metro covers, rather than ‘cover covers’, IYSWIM.

Haha I seem to be getting a reputation... lol

Sorry guys but not really interested in making carbon covers as personally I just don't like the standard rover mirrors hence the move to Magical Racing

That said... I have got some carbon projects in build right now... more to come
