Balancing carbs with a manomter on a dry sump turbo

OK, done plenty of carb balancing on Elites, Excels and N/A Esprits, but never on a Turbo dry sump. So having a look at it, is it possible to get at the vacuum points to connect the manometer hoses without having to remove the plenum. The car is fitted with DHLA 40's, which after having checked seems to be the correct carbs, these have been previously fully overhauled but I am having fuel issues when trying to give it a bit of throttle as in missfires so I suspect posible carb imbalance. It has been suggested that there may be an air leek at the spindle seals, but I want to eliminate all other avenues before removing everything first. Also noticed that only one part of the two usual cup washers have been fitted to the carb to manifold mountings, although the rubber mounting is there.

Any suggestions greatfully received.

I have balanced both NA & turbo the sams, no problems.

Misfiring when opening the throttle can be due to ignition failiure as the increased compression ratio makes it harder to fire the spark plug.

Yes you can connect the manometer without removing plenum. I put the connectors into a piece of plastic tubing to stop dropping them and use the tube to get it started into the thread before tightening with screwdriver. Cylinder 3 is tricky but perfectly doable.
