I’ve had this fantastic car for 2.5 years now and it’s only because of a recent impulse buy that I would like to let it go to someone else to use.

The car has Sports, Tech and some of the comfort pack – this was originally a Lotus Director’s car so was specc’d bespoke, which I’ll try to capture below.  This car is identified on the dealer systems as ‘Hethel Edition’:

Sports/black pack (as per Sports Racer)
Optional black gloss wheels (20″ rear, 19″ front) with good tyres
Useable rear seats – I don’t care what anyone says about these, I’ve been running my two kids to Junior school since I bought it, with the occasional adult in the back on the way to the pub.
Electric folding heated mirrors
Heated leather front seats
Cruise control
SPORT button – sharper throttle response, more relaxed stability control
Updated Kenwood head unit (Satnav, Bluetooth etc) – much better than the standard unit, which is frankly awkward to use
Tinted (legally!) Bi-Xenon headlamps with washer system
Lotus Sports Exhaust, blue/titanium tips – actually really glorious noise
Lotus Sports 3rd cat bypass pipe
BOE Cold Air Intake – this combo (with cat bypass and sport exhaust) sounds fantastic but not boomy, in my opinion.  I also have all original intake system.
Gloss black running boards
Difflow 7 element gloss black rear difusser (I also have original)

This is a meticulous car, my 6th Lotus and by far the best one.  It’s been very well looked after but also not a garage queen.  It’s been to 2 Le Mans, used generally in the dry but is a school run car, a commute car, a fun blast car and a show car at local events.  Given the sympathetic mods I’ve made, I’d expect the car to be running about 300BHP.  Never been on track.

Full service history at Lotus Main Dealers (Snows Lotus Southampton for me), most recent (July 2018) was a Major service.  I do less than 3000 miles per year, so probably only done 1000 miles since that.

It lives in my garage wearing a gorgeous fitted Lotus indoor car cover.

It doesn’t want for anything, for any lucky buyer, just ready to enjoy.
