Esprit ice sculpture

Just back from the ice hotel in Sweden. One of the activities we had booked was having a go at Ice Sculpture. Not for me a heart, ball, initials. how old I am. No, I had to have a go a making my Esprit! The instructor was a bit sceptical with me having absolutely ZERO artistic talent but I insisted. He was quite complimentary at the end,(I suppose he has to be!) and I was pleasantly surprised that it actually did vaguely look like an Esprit. However I'm not giving up on the day job!

Its a good effort, and I note you opted to carve the 1972 motor show prototype Esprit, with the matching angle of windscreen and front 'bonnet' :detective:

For production the windscreen angle was steepened to improve visibility :)

I like it!  Did you get to bring it home? 😉

They said we could if we wanted to!! I don't think anyone took them up on their offer though! They dotted them around the outside of the hotel for all the other guests to marvel at!!❄️❄️.

How big was the glass of gin you put it in?

I knew I was forgetting something. I was going to put a big hole in the top the Esprit but it would have spoilt the look! According to Marie, the ice glasses they give you have to have a big lip on them because you melt it every time you have a drink!
