Evora S MY12 owners - Reversing camera help

Hi chaps

I have a question for Evora S MY12 owners regarding the reversing camera.

When you select reverse does the alpine unit automatically show a picture from the camera or do you have to select the camera manually?

The reason I ask is that on my previous Launch Edition Evora the camera picture was automatically displayed when I selected reverse.

I read the manual and it seems to say that it has to be deleted manually on the Evora S.

Ive checked all the wires and connections ton tot back of the Alpine and they are all fine.

Same on mine, built in June 2012. Pioneer AVIC930BT, reverse camera comes on automatically.

Camera comes on automatically for me - though I don't know what head unit I have - aside from the reverse camera, I never use it!

I do quite like the Pioneer head unit, has apple car play, might treat myself later in the year -only £300

I have the Alpine head unit in my 2014 car, the reversing camera comes on automatically.
