Esprit washer with rubber ring?

Hi,

My name is Alan and new to the Lotus forums. I stay in Norway and a proud new owner of a 1990, Lotus Esprit turbo SE. I’m in the middle of changing the cam belt at the moment, and I found a large washer with a rubber ring, laying inside the chassis, please see the attached picture! Can anyone tell me where it’s from? I found it when I was looking for another washer that I accidentally dropped while removing the alternator!
