A friend of mine with a standard Elise 220 Sport (the latest version with the louder exhaust) is looking to book a track day at Bedford Autodrome. The static is 101db and drive by 87db. I'm pretty sure he should be fine, but wondered whether anyone has taken this version to Bedford?

He should be fine. My Evora S1 with cat delete pipe and sports exhaust came in close to the static limit but below it.  I was very close to the drive by limit and got a downshift wrong and overreved the engine. That got me a warning and I had to shift a little earlier but it didn’t distract too much from the day. 
 

I would think that in an Elise even with a louder exhaust should be fine 

Just to confirm that the 220 Sport with revised exhaust was fine at Bedford 👍
