Evora wheel arch stickers

Recommended Posts

Hi, it’s been while since I’ve been here!!!

moved home to saffron Walden about 1.5 years ago, basically been busy with everything life throws at you, but seems I have emerged well from it and now getting back in the car as it has sat in my garage doing nothing but looking at me👀

was at goodwood and noticed the evora wheel arch stickers, does anyone know if you can buy these ?

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

I got mine from eBay about year ago I can’t find it on my list of purchases

I think I paid £40 and were applied when I got my vinyl wrap done and it’s been fine no signs of wear or peeling

only criticism the colour could be darker it’s a darker grey rather than black

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I've just received some of these:-

https://www.elise-shop.com/sharkfin-decals-evora-evora-4x0-evora-gt-p-503580.html

for my Sport Racer - they don't bear Lotus original part numbers, and the website states that they are designed to fit on top of the existing clear PPF that covers the whole panel in front of each rear wing. I chose these for that reason, and because they're smooth vinyl not textured (as some advertised are) and so will be a better match for the SR sills, etc.

However, they don't come with any fitting instructions - would anyone know if these are dry fit or wet fit (I've done small bits of wet fit PPF on Elises before so I'm OK with that) please?

The vinyl backing sheet shows the manufacturer as being Avery Dennison but I can't find anything useful on their website either...

Thanks in advance!

No reply from @YvoTuk and these are ready to go on - does anyone know if they’re wet or dry fit? I checked on a new 410 in the showroom at Stratton yesterday and they definitely go on top of the clear PPF from the factory.....

Strange.. I can't find any email in regards to shark fins?!

Anyway, fitting depends on your experience. Someone who does this regularly will stick them on dry and will be able to correct where needed.

If you're not that experienced, use a spray bottle with some water to make it easier to correct. Make sure you work all water away from below the sticker and don't drive the car for at least 24hrs to give the water time to evaporate.
