Gear overhaul kit thingy

Just read about the gear kit from Lotus on LEW.

Any news of it's arrival (can't figure out the timescales of the article).

I need to do half and hour of weights every night to be able to change gear

I would expect your car still has the citroen box wihch is quite different in the linkage at the back and can generally be sorted with correct adjustment ad replacing the bushes!

Mine improved a ton just by changing the bushes(cheap)

Yep is the Citroen Mas box I think. Where do I get the bushes from (are they detailed in the service manual)? Would like a nice gear change - glad to hear it's likely to be easier!

Any help appreciated. Car just had C service and MOT - now I can finally drive it any time I want (and I have been!).

The bushes can be got from anywhere i got mine from chrisneil most are basically a rubber bush with nylon caps that you put in one on the box has a metal collar but thats about it its dead easy to do.

Just call whoever you get you parts from and ask for a full set of gear linkage bushes.

mine has had new bushes and a visi to paul matty but can still make me look a prat when trying to get reverse
