Komotec sells a remap package for the 410 to add the extra 20 hp

The small print.

My comments and observations are my own, invariably "tongue in cheek", and definitely, sarcastic in nature. Therefore, do not take my advice, suggestions, observations or posts seriously or personally and remember if you do, do anything, that I may have suggested, then you have done this based solely on your own decision to do so and therefore you acknowledge responsibility and accountability (I know, in this modern world these are the hardest things for you to accept) for your actions and indemnify me of any influence, responsibility, accountability, or liability, in what you have done. In other words, you did it, so suffer the consequences on your own!

No problem Dave. Come back to me on this and on the LSD when you have time.

Bizar KT doesn't extract more power out of the 410... 😉 Even less then out  of their ex460 kit... 🤔

Check out Vone Racing Valence as an example: Exige 410 after remap only: 471 bhp and 514 Nm - 899eur

I guess it is this one

Do you have any more references from them ???

The most expensive 20bhp ever

Depends what you are looking for.

The Lotus ECU is encoded.

So you're paying for the time it took to decode it - no, it didn't just take an hour or two!

You're paying for the expertise in, and quality of, the tune coding.

But most of all your paying for the fact that that these are cars built in small numbers, so you just don't get the volume sales to be able to sell stuff like this cheap.

Arguably...yes

Personally I still don’t see 20 bhp justifying 1600 eur at all, more bhp ...  maybe but not 20

A member on G111 forum has been to Vone (they are Lotus specialist for many years... yes, they exist next to KT.  Seems like my comments are not too much appreciated here!!) with his 430 cup, Komotec air intake, 2bular manifolds, no cat.: 504hp, 534Nm.

@cuprapw

They are a known Lotus outfit in France.

It is nothing more than "normal" to get more than 460hp out of the 4xx Exiges... if KT gets 460hp out of the charge cooled 1320 superchargers, no reason a charge cooled 1740 supercharged engine can't do better.

The map is custom to the car (so dyno tuned - car needs to be physically onsite).  Not sure they do generic maps... but I would stay away from those.

I will contact them and ask if they have any distributor in Spain, if not, is not too far from where I live ( more or less 10 hours)

Something isn’t adding up here.

The FB page indicates uplift in bhp of 75 but only 31nm torque. Considering the Cup 430 really is in need of torque not bhp additional work is required but your figures don’t really tally with up the  above particularly the 410 figures

The G111 member has spent a great deal more than €899. The Komotec kit to get the equivalent NM is €5,990

Yup. But then that's down to each person deciding for themselves and no one is forcing you to buy.

To me the Vone kit is just the software, the advert reads/implies to me that you also need headers, decat/sports cat and CAI kit.  So the "total" cost will be in the region of £4000 I would guess. So still cheaper than Komotec.

God doesn't want me, and the Devil isn't finished with me yet.
