The internal parts of the Marina switches are the same even though the toggles are different. Easily swapped over. I got a whole control panel off a Marina for $5.

Just a quick one but when I had my spitfire Rimmer Bros were the best specialists for Triumph parts.

To add to Graeme Simpson's list on the multi function turn signal assembly:

If your switch is bad order a 1973 Land Rover Series III turn signal switch assembly.

This was an exact replacement to the switch fitted to my 1979 Esprit S2 with the exception of the stalk.

As Graeme suggested you can bend the stalk provided with the switch (Longer and different in appearance) or your can carefully remove the original stalk and installed it in the new switch for an exact replacement.

The pin that holds the stalk in the assembly is of a basic button head design that is staked in to keep it from working itself out.

I had to carefully drill the "staked" portion away and push the pin out with a jewelers (small) phillips headed screwdriver.

Once I had this free the original stalk was removed with ease.

I used an equivelant sized rolled pin as a replacement, once installed insert a small flat bladed screwdriver in the slot on both ends of the pin and slightly bend out.......remember this is a very low movement area so just a little will do.

The key is to keep the pin in during movement of the stalk.

This new switch also has a few wires that are hanging free with spade connectors installed.

The spade connectors need to be cut free as they will be terminated into the plastic Lotus plug as original.

Do not cut free the horn spade connector (Green with Tan stripe, old switch, Lime Green with Red stripe on the new switch) as it will still be used.

The new pins are available at NAPA and are called by a trade name of "molex" or "amp connector pins".

A special crimper (Molex HT1921) is required to crimp the new connectors.

Before you cut anything compare all wiring colors and positions.

I made a diagram of wiring positions in reference to the orginals and it helped in reassembly
