Esprit Comparison Article

August Octane (UK) has a GREAT article comparing a Urraco, Pantera, 308GTS, Bora and a Lotus Esprit (4cyl). Anyone subscribe? Can someone scan this article? Sounds interesting!

I wouldn't worry too much about it, I spent ages hunting it out but there's not a lot about the esprit and certainly nothing new. There are a few pics but nothing special. I felt it was a bit of a wasted opportunity. They were using Pete Gentilli's S2 which is a lovely car. I'd be interested in hearing from Pete about his experiences on the photoshoot/test drive. Pete you out there?

I bought it too... It was a good piece - was looking for all the positives to emphasise about all the cars rather than just spouting the usual Lots of trou... crap.

Just wish the Essex Turbo had come out one year sooner!

It was a shame they included a Maseratir Bora rather than a Merak which wold have fitted in with the other cars better. But the Esprit came out in a good light when you compare how much each costs.
