Hi,

I am selling my Lotus Esprit Turbo SE 1990MY. I have owned her for just over a decade now but haven’t driven her for around 8 years.

She has covered just over 106k miles but never smoked and always pulled nicely through the gears. I took her off the road and placed her in a barn as I needed the wiring harness for the ECU to complete my long running project (another SE).

So the car is looking a little worse for wear on the interior and does require a full retrim. I did start this with varying degrees of success.

I would say that she is 98% complete. The only things that are missing that I can see are ECU wiring loom (I do have the connectors from a car previously burned out (the connectors survived but the wiring itself got scorched)), The brake servo, x 2 sunroof tongues (small fixings), x 2 oil coolers and the x 2 light pod motors I have misplaced. All of these items should be easy to replace I would imagine and even if they were present the oil coolers in particular nearly always get destroyed on disassembly.

What isn’t pictured but I do have is the engine bay cover, The engine bay compartment, the centre trim and the passenger seat, The centre console with all the dials, Passenger side rear light cluster, a rear wing and the front spoiler, engine plenum (with secondary injectors) drivers side door carcass, drivers side wing mirror and the spare wheel.

I also have a big pack of history too in a folder.

The paint work is actually passable if you wanted to touch up in certain areas etc. The chassis is solid as you would expect and the place where they all go (near the manifold) was cut out and a new tube professionally spliced in around 9 years ago. This is a project car but I think she could be quite quickly put back on the road if someone wanted to get her back there without the frills. door window frames looked very solid from what I could see.

As you can see she was pretty dusty when I went to take photos.

Looking at offers around the £10k mark.

Please let me know if you are interested.

Cheers

Mark
