GReddy Boost controller

Recommended Posts

Am really pleased.

Fitted my Greddy Profec B to the car at the weekend and have managed to get out and set it up and test it. ACE!!!!

I had a simple dual boost control through an RS Turbo amal valve but this wasn't a 100% perfect. The GReddy is sweet.

I set the low boost at the standard for my actuator (0.85 bar) and have dialled the high boost to just under 1.0 bar.

It's ace. Really smooth and hardly any spiking. I wonder if these work better in the non ecu cars than the SE's etc???

It does help though that I have previously fitted a proper boost gauge which is far more accurate than the original lotus one.

Thank you to Dave Walters that managed to get it for me.

Cheers

Your car has carbs?

They should work realy well on a non EFI car. Nothing to get in the way. Sweet and simple.

Glad to hear it works for you.

After advice I bought the Greddy

"When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked him to forgive me."

Dave,

A turbo timer is different to a boost controller. They do completely different jobs! Make sure you buy the right gadget for the job you intended for.

Good stuff

No... I think it's the complete opposite... where everything gets REALLY fast ;)
