Best place for 12V + ACC

I'm sure someone around here can give me a good place to get access to

(a) a 12V supply, and

(B) a wire that's only 12V when the ignitions on

I've got the wiring diagram etc, but I thought I'd ask 'cause someone's bound to know! I need these within the passenger compartment.

grab the power from behind the fuse box. that way you have terminals ready for wiring. on the passenger side, there's another array accessible through the glovebox. you may want to wire a whole separate circuit and fuse, especially if you're wiring in a TV or computer. the safest to use is the lighter plug circuit, but that's always on. you can break that circuit and relay it on with another existing circuit.

Take it off the stereo! ignition live, permanent live and earth are normally the only wires coming off the back of the stereo other than the speaker wires.
