Does anybody remember which oil Brian recommended for use in the 4 cylinder cars yesterday? Just looking to buy some on Demon Tweeks at the moment. I can't remember if it was Mobil 10w/50 or Castrol RS 10w/60.

Also, is there any reason why I shouldn't use an oil filter I've had on my shelf for the past 2 years?

Someone wasn't listening yesterday!

Still sorting out a deal with Demon Tweeks for discount.

Lotus told me to use Castrol RS 10w60. Can't see a problem using the oil filter as long as it's clean and hasn't been in either really hot or cold conditions.

Let's make this easy. Mobil-1 15W-50. True synthetic, not a carbon based (stuff from the Earth) reformualted.

Don't know if mobil 1 will be available in the future in 15W-50 in the US. They just reformulated . The closest one may now be 0W-40 but not sure.

They definitely said NOT the 0W rated oils as it's too thin
