Hi.

I have a Tech one and I was hpoing to find where to get the lotus data cartridge?

Pete,

Your TECH1 scan tool was designed to interact the an ECU using the OBDI protocall, it requires the Lotus specific cartridge for the 4-cylinder cars with GM engine management. It looks from your profile you have a V8 which uses the OBDII protocall for that you need the next generation TECH2 scan tool.

You may need to do a bit of research on this but I am not sure you can teach at TECH1 to speak OBDII ?

I have tech one with OBD2 conecter Is there a 2001/2 cartridge for that?

workshop manual refers to a SIR system data table from Opel/GM Omega, or so. And ECM is also a GM (Cevrolet!?) basic system, so that means there should be a data table for tech one... .

Other way is a simple Laptop version for ECM readouts.
