Have you tried asking Lotus Bits? They would be my first port of call. Even if they don't do them, they may well know where to look (also like Mr Kemp <kneels reverently> himself!)

JAE has flywheel drilled to work on SEs AND S4S' and I beleive it is a little lighter than stock.

My car is currently in pieces and it's all being fixed at some point soon I'm sure.

While it's apart I think a lighter flywheel is in order. Any suggestions of sources for me ;)

Thanks guys.

Check with member Jan Hoel (f1karting). He's having an alloy one made up for his '83. If you go aluminum on a Delco injected car you'll need to embed ferrous triggers in the notches to trigger the crank sensor. Small pieces of key stock secured by countersunk allen screws should do it. Make sure the flywheel has a removble blanchard ground steel contact face and don't over do it on the lightness. Ten pounds is not bad for a road car. Drop down to 6 or 7 lbs and you may have trouble launching the car, not to mention uneaven idle.
