stripped threads

I decided to take off one of the airbox covers to check the airfilter. First of all, its a pain to get to the bottom bolts. Something I thought would take five minutes turned into a couple of hours. I won't go into details. Lets just say I strongly suggest placing a rag under the airbox to prevent things from falling into impossible to get out of places.

One of the "female ends" for an airbox bolt/screw is stripped. The threads appear to be the same kind as the nut plate thats used for the liscence plate bracket. If I'm correct any suggestions on how to fix this? Fortunatley its one of the easier ones to reach.

I thought of some quick fix things but I have no idea whats behind that plate.
