Yeah I was wondering how long they would get around to doing a Lotus one,I wonder if it will be removed as most of my LOTUS EMBLEM ITEMS HAVE BEEN TAKEN OFF OF EBAY,by a Kathy Dadd, from Lotus.Paul Purplerain.

Mmmm - I enquired about these.

12" x 9" is the actual size.

And I would say it is just a deeply etched piece of thick plastic with a blue or yellow light coming from the side. The people that actually buy these signs reckon they're cool. But you really don't know until you spend your money. Most go for under a pound, as shipping is the real profit he makes.

Might put in a bid - see if I get lucky :D Then we'll know exactly what it's like.

Ahhhh!!!!

The penny drops. Did not really notice. :D

Yeah, this is the same as the drop down glass 'EXIT' lights that i install,

Light source enters through edge of pane and prism sort of logic means

it lights all the 'EXIT' script.

Still cool though i think, wonder if it would fit behind the rear screen? B)

Bought one for 0.54 p + the huge postage.

Blue ones are going for too much so decided on a RED sign - of course... ;)

I'll give it a rating once received... :)

  • 2 weeks later...

Well it arrived yesterday.

Pretty cool sign. And it's just as we described, some deeply etched plastic with a light mounted at the top. It's designed to hang on a wall. It would look really good in a garage (hanging on the wall) all lit up. B)

I would recommend the item - just don't pay over a pound.

I'll put a photo of the sign up later today. It doesn't look quite like the Ebay image - in that the integral light is fixed to the perspex.

Came with an American plug to - but that was only a 2 minute job to swap over.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

What's all this stuff about Lotus emblems purplerain??? :) :) :) I know most companies get very tetchy about non-official items being produced but I think there's a wealth of very tasteful unofficial stuff out there like the branded cigarette lighter, tyre caps, etc.. what things have you tried to sell on ebay before? I might be interested... :)
