A great venue would be the Crooked Chimney PH, just past Brocket Hall on the B653, near Junction 4, A1(M).

Used to go there when I lived in Welwyn Garden City.

Yes it's one of our favourite pubs - although I don't eat there as I only eat kosher. And yes I'm in the SE part of WGC, so it's not far.

Yes I know them - We're off Ascotts Lane on the new estate built in 1991.
