OK, I want to mod some parts of the car (calypso red A23 P420GJ23) - A while ago I popped down to halfords and by chance bought a spray paint (sure it was for a VW) and done the rear aerofoil with it. Spot on, but I ran out so I left the can (empty) so I would remember the colour. Now this was a few months back and the can has be chucked away (not by me) so I am back to square 1.

Now, I could go down to a paint specialist and get

Halfords saved my life !

I don't believe it but I went in there, said I doubt you do colours for lotus and the guy had it done in ~ 5mins - spot on as well, couldn't believe it, you dont usually associate this kinda 'can do' with halfords (although he was an older chap and they tend to do a better job tbh).

Halfords were spot on for me too. I went there not expecting much, and thought I'd at least need the long ICI code, but was surprised to see they had the Lotus codes. It must have been good, because Howard didn't even spot that any work had been done, and there's not much slips past Howard's eagle eye.

I beleive you can get it mixed as a brushing paint, which is what I intend to do for tuch ups, once it's sprayed and worth tuching up!
